Practice with Summaries

You take some time to write up a one paragraph summary (and a paragraph of response if you can) to the Pat Bourne article.  This goes in your daybook.

Then we look at an example of a summary/response to that article which meets this assignment.

Homework:

1.  Read through the Twitchell article again.  Underline important points and interesting statements.  Write questions/comments in the margins.  Think about how Twitchell presents his information.  Where is there a lot of detail?  Are there places you'd like to know more? Do you agree with his idea that hair coloring was a dangerous product?

2.  One vocabulary word.
