We correct the drowning paragraph.

You spend time in the lab.  Complete the database worksheet, and work on finding information to include in your draft.

On Monday you'll have time to enter your sources into EasyBib.

Homework:

1. Finish writing the part of your draft that comes from your knowledge/experience.

2. Work on finding and adding information from sources to your draft.  Keep it simple:  "according to Jones" is fine. Three sources are the minimum.

2. TWFTD: your choice from sources.

CRAAP Test

What is it about the internet?  Sources and reliability. Google: famous failures. See this? Compare to this.

Let's think about the C.R.A.A.P. test for this site.  Currency? Relevance? Authority? Accuracy? Purpose?

You are going to the lab and looking at the links below. Rate each site using the CRAAP test. Write down the name of the site, and then underneath spell out CRAAP running down the page. Next to each letter, write out your assessment of the site in that category. You are thinking in terms of using information from this site for an SCC class assignment of some sort on the history of Valentine's Day.
