Editing Draft 2 and IP

You create an outline of your main idea and supporting points in your daybook. Paraphrase!


Review of April 30.

We look at this short film.  Free write in your daybook:  Is copying ever/never theft?  Explain.

Now we watch this short film.

Time for editing your paper, due tomorrow.  Make sure your database citation is correct (does it show what publication the article came from?).

Homework:

1.  Final Version due. Bring all drafts and comment sheets.

2.  Daybook due. Include the database handout worksheet and the drowning handout.

3.  I'll give you the prompt for the next short essay. It's due Monday.

Draft #2 Informing

I return your summary/response papers.  After looking over the paper, in your daybook record:

1.  One strength of the paper.

2.  One weakness.

3.  What are your two most frequent editing errors?

Now find the Wrtier's Page from Draft 1 of the Informing paper.  Answer the question on it about Draft 2, and number the paragraphs in Draft 2.

When you have read 2 drafts, upload your Draft 2 to TurnItIn using the link in our online class through The Hub.

Homework:

1. Begin editing your paper.  The Final Version is due Friday, as is your daybook.

Working on MLA

Do Ex. 37.1 page 90-91 sentences 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9. Transform each sentence into a single correct sentence and write it into your daybook.

Today you work on your second draft, due tomorrow.

Have a printed Works Cited page and at least two in-text citations in your draft.

Homework:
