Beginning with this paper, you will upload your Draft #2 into Turnitin, an online service that does back-up proofreading and plagiarism checking.
Go to our class in Moodle, click on the link in the Kickstarter on Paper section, and upload your paper.
You'll read two drafts today, also. Get out the purple Writer's Page to put on top of your Draft #2. I'll hand out 2 new comment sheets to clip behind it.
Before you exchange drafts, I want you to look through your own paper. Find an example of a sentence that uses coordination (comma-fanboys) and underline it. Then find an example of a sentence using subordination and underline with a wavy line.
Homework:
1. Daybook Check #2 is tomorrow. Have all loose handouts included to turn in with your daybook.
2. Be sure to get your draft uploaded to Turnitin in Moodle.
3. TWFTD: emphasis in OED. How has the meaning of this word changed?
