Practicing Sentence Variety

1. Everyone should have their paper uploaded in Moodle (Turnitin). Go there and open your paper to view the Turnitin document viewer. I show you what you can do there and how to use it to help you proofread and revise your paper.

2. Practice subordination and coordination. You are going to do TWO exercises in Everyday Writer. They are Ex. 25.1 page 289 and Ex. 25.2 page 292. You should type them out and take advantage of Word's help to make sure that you are creating legal sentences. This will be included in the NEXT daybook check.

Follow the book's directions EXCEPT NOTE: For the second exercise, you do NOT have to put everything into one sentence. Some would be too long and awkward. And you can drop words/phrases that would be repeated.

3. I will pass out the daybook score sheet, and you check off next to the work that you completed.

Homework:

1. Finalize your Kickstarter on Paper. The final version, with all drafts and purple sheets, is due Tuesday April 29.

2. If you did not finish Ex. 25.1 and 25.2 (above), do so.
